Indians, (Hindi भारत के लोग) are the majority of the people of India. Most Indians live in India. There are also many Indians in the United States, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere.
Indians speak Hindi, but English is the official language spread throughout the colonization of the United Kingdom.
India is considered the homeland of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Scythianism. They are all considered to be the religions of India. Most prevalent are Hinduism and Buddhism, which are the third and fourth largest religions in the world and have respectively 2 and 2.5 million followers     . India is also considered to be the birthplace of some beliefs in Cynicism.

80% of Indians profess Hinduism. 13% of Indians adhere to Islam and 7% other beliefs (Buddhism, Jainism, Shinto, Christianity, Atheism).
